THE cast of Love Island were left totally surprised after they spotted TV icons Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s superyacht in the sea right by the show’s villa.
The line-up of this summer’s edition almost had a close call with the Jenner sisters who are enjoying a relaxing break away in the Majorcan sunshine along with their mother, Kris Jenner.

Behind the scenes, the group of singletons were told that Kylie had parked up in the water close to the villa sparking speculation a cameo from the star and her sister could be imminent.
A source told The Sun: “The launch promises lots of surprises for viewers – but the cast got their own shock behind the scenes when they were told Kylie Jenner had anchored her superyacht less than a few nautical miles away from the Majorca villa.
“They could see it bobbing in the water from one side of the property.
“It definitely added another layer of excitement for the newbies and it felt like the stars were aligning for them, literally!
“It’s already going to be the biggest Love Island launch in the show’s history.”
Kylie shared a glimpse into her Majorcan getaway as she looked stunning in a long figure-hugging dress.
The mum-of-two ensured all eyes were on her and her curves as she clutched onto a glass as she posed away on one of the decks of her yacht against a dreamy sunset backdrop.
Kylie’s dress flashed some sideboob as she playfully posed for the camera.
Whilst The Kardashians stars seem unlikely surprise guests for the ITV2 dating show, Kylie in particular has a more solid connection to the programme than you may realise.
Kylie sat front row alongside show host Maya Jama at a number of fashion week events over the past year.
In September of last year, Kylie and Maya sat just a few seats away from one another at the Dolce & Gabbana show at Milan Fashion Week.
Kylie and her family have a long-running connection to D&G with the designers exclusively hosting and curating all the looks for Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding to Travis Barker as well as having Kim on board to creatively direct one of their runway shows.
Not only that, but Kylie is understood to have personally selected last year’s finalist Ella Thomas to attend a Kylie Cosmetics event in LA.
Ella had been working with the brand doing paid promotions on Instagram and Kylie held a dinner for the brand earlier this year with just a select few of her favourite influencers joining her at the event – and the ex of Tyrique Hyde was lucky enough to make the cut.
As well as the hysteria from a possible Jenner cameo, ITV are gearing up to make their Love Island launch the biggest to date.
Following in the footsteps of Big Brother, the reality TV series will be simulcast on the main ITV1 channel as well as it’s usual home of ITV2 and the streaming platform ITVX.
It is thought that this will help to boost immediate interest and viewing figures and to hook fans in right from the get-go.
Maya will be back to welcome the dating hopefuls to the villa for her fifth overall series since joining the programme in January of last year.
She has so far hosted last year’s winter and summer edition of the series as well as being the face of the international programme Love Island Games as well as the famous faces spin-off Love Island: All Stars.
The TV presenter is expected to make her biggest entrance with a Lamborghini taking her straight to the villa’s front doors.
