The actress wrote on Instagram: “The best weekend! With my girls! EVER!
“This is the third year @thebigretreatfestival offering Breathwork and Ecstatic Dance.
“It feels so expansive and beautiful spending time with people who show up fully for themselves, ready to do the work!!! Ready to dive deep into their bodies, to let go of all the shit that has been holding them back!
“To journey deep into the silence. Deep into their truth. It’s sticky and uncomfortable and brave!
“Thank you so much to all the beautiful souls I met this weekend @thebigretreatfestival for trusting in me to take you on a journey with the breath, with the dance, with the music…. So many of you…”
Luisa has made no secret of her love of DJ’ing on social media, and often shares clips having a boogie while spinning discs.
In a recent video, the star grooved about as she got stuck into some music making with her headphones on.
She penned: “Making music to take people on a journey with sound, breath and movement. Allowing them to experience it all. All the feels. All emotions equally important and felt without judgement and without a story needing to be connected to it.
“I love this life. Times are changing. We need to be grounded more now than ever before. We need truth. For me, this cuts away all the bullshit and takes me to my truth.”
Luisa shot to fame in 1988 as Herte in A Friendship in Vienna, before later landing roles in Grange Hill, The Bill and Birds of a Feather.
She first appeared in Holby City on season four as a midwife on the hospital’s maternity ward called Lisa Fox.
Luisa was a series regular and appeared in the programme from 2001 to 2005.
