Yuriy’s reveal comes after he stopped the show mid-broadcast after singing Let It Go from Disney’s Frozen.

He received positive feedback from the judges, but then turned to speak to the camera.

“My heart goes out to the people of Ukraine tonight,” he said but he was quickly cut off by Ant and Dec who rushed onto the stage.

He was of course referring to the ongoing war that was sparked by Russia’s invasion of the country in February 2022 which has killed thousands of soldiers and civilians.

Yuriy, who lives in London, was met on stage by Ant and Dec who thanked him for his performance.

He lost his place in the finals to comedian Alex Mitchell and magician Trixy.
