Ella shot to fame on Married At First Sight as the show’s first transgender contestant.

She ended up being the break out star of the series, and has won over an army of fans.

Due to her popularity and instant fame, she has now been snapped up to appear on the next series of Celebs Go Dating.

But as filming for the E4 reality show got underway, Ella revealed she had broken down.

Posting a picture of herself outside the famous dating agency used on the show, she wrote: “First day at the agency, lots of laughter… and some tears, speaking with the amazing experts.”

Meanwhile, some of Ella’s the cast, who also went for meetings about doing Celebs Go Dating, weren’t happy she was top of producers’ list.

The show usually takes one or two stars from the most popular series of the year.

A source told The Sun: “A lot of Ella’s former co-stars really wanted to get on Celebs Go Dating, and had talks with bosses which they felt went well.

“But as soon as they heard Ella was also in talks, they had a feeling she would get it and they were right.

“There’s a lot of jealousy around her success from certain former E4 brides and grooms, because they feel like she gets all the best opportunities.

“As far as show bosses are concerned however, Ella was the one who impressed the most and earnt her spot on the show.

“She was the breakout star of MAFS and is set to be the most talked-about person on Celebs Go Dating too. She has a natural magnetism and viewers root for her.”

Ella joins Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan, Gogglebox alum Stephen Lustig-Webb, pop star Jamelia, Love Island’s Chris Taylor and Made In Chelsea star Tristan Phipps.

Ella was snapped kissing EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier at the Bafta TV awards.

The pair were spotted snogging several times at the posh event.

On MAFS she tied the knot with groom Nathaniel Valentino.

However, she left the final episode with JJ Slater after they both cheated on their original partners.

Their relationship ended after they realised they were better off as mates.

Her ex JJ is now with Katie Price after she slid into his DMs after the show ended.

Ella risked Katie’s wrath this week when she took a swipe at JJ, saying: “I’m never going to settle again as I now know my worth.”
