A HOLLYOAKS fan favourite teased viewers that he could be jumping over to BBC rival EastEnders.
Fans were gutted when Ross Adams announced his departure from the Channel 4 show earlier this year.

In a ‘goodbye’ video posted on Instagram, the actor included a cheeky nod for soap fans.
The clip shows Ross approaching the Hollyoaks sign, looking sadly at the camera and then walking off.
However, his choice of background music caught followers’ attention – opting for ‘Julia’s theme’, a piece of music synonymous with EastEnders.
Named for the show’s co-creator Julia Smith, the music is typically used to signify major moments such as deaths or exits from Albert Square.
Picking up on Ross’ wink to his followers, one of them commented: “Would love to see you on Eastenders one day having a scene with Sharon in the Vic!”
He replied: “omg can you imagine?”
The actor was brutally culled from the cast along with 19 other stars.
It comes as execs grapple with cost cuts as well as Hollyoaks being slashed to just three episodes a week.
In an earlier social media update, Ross confirmed his final scenes were due to be filmed today, Friday.
He said: “Been away filming in Malta but back on home soil now ready to shoot my last ever scene on @Hollyoaks this Friday.”
During Scott Drinkwell’s tenure, the character has battled depression, poisoned his aunt Diane and was manipulated by James Nightingale into ruining his family’s restaurant business.
Ross previously raised fans’ suspicions over potentially joining EastEnders following his online activity.
He has made several TikToks cosplaying as Sharon Watts, an original character of the BBC soap.
As for confirmed projects, Ross’ next role after leaving Hollyoaks will see him join a string of fellow soap alumni.
He will appear in the second series of Channel 5 drama The Good Ship Murder, as new character Colin Smallwood.
The crime drama follows a retired detective-turned cabaret singer solving murders on board a luxury Mediterranean cruise ship.
It stars ex-Coronation Street cast members Shayne Ward and Catherine Tyldesley who played on-screen couple Aidan Connor and Eva Price in the ITV soap.
