NETFLIX has confirmed the return of an acclaimed comedy series, much to fans delight.
The Vince Staples show first made its debut on the global streaming platform in February and it has been a hit ever since.
The fictional series is set in Long Beach, California and it is loosely based on Vince’s own life.
Ahead of the follow-up comeback, Vince Staples, 30, was gushing about the series and how excited he is for it to be returning to the airwaves.
Vince exclaimed: “The people have spoken and the most riveting, captivating, and polarizing show on Netflix is returning for Season 2.
“Get ready for hijinks that only a mother can love. Thank you, Netflix!”
“There are 365 days in a year, so we’re able to have 365 episodes of this thing because they’re all based on what it’s like to just exist day-to-day,” Staples added.
“Next for Vince is literally anything because anything could happen at any moment, that’s just how life works.”
The synopisis of the series reads: “Who’s Vince Staples? Well, that’s a tricky question.
“He’s kind of famous, but he’s not. He’s kind of rich, but he’s not. He’s also kind of a criminal. But he’s…not?
“Follow him on his daily adventures, where anything that can go wrong usually does.”
He created the show alongside Ian Edelman and Maurice Williams where he also serves as one of the executive producers.
This is alongside starring on the show as a fictionalized version of himself in the first five-episode series.
Recurring stars to partake in the show include the likes of Vanessa Bell Calloway and Andrea Ellsworth.
Other stars to have guest roles on the show have included the likes of Rick Ross, Naté Jones and Bryan Greenberg.
