But instead of bearing gifts, Nish had a heartbreaking revelation to share with his estranged family – who seemed unbothered.

However, as scenes have rolled out, EastEnders fans have taken to social media after they ‘rumbled’ which unsuspecting character would risk his life to save the bad guy in a huge twist.

Following the latest episode, viewers have taken to X and claimed that Nish and Suki’s son Vinny would step forward and save his dad.

However, if this does happen, the young businessman, played by Shiv Jalota, will be sadly killed off.

Taking to the social media platform, a fan of the BBC soap penned: “I think Vinny will die and Nish will get his heart.”

Another viewer added: “Nish needs a heart transplant. Well, nice knowing you, Vinny.”

A third expressed: “A lot of comments suggesting Vinny could get killed off, meaning Nish could have his heart.

“Suki has already lost one child – to lose another would be devastating.”

“They won’t just kill a great bad guy off like that, so I think someone will die on the square, and he will get that heart”, another fan chimed.

Since arriving back to the square, Nish received the devastating news that he didn’t have long to live and needed a new heart.

After being pushed down by Ravi following his unexpected arrival inside the Panesar family home, Nish was rushed to hospital.

With his family surrounding him, it was revealed by a nurse that he was actually dying.

The nurse also told him he might not live long enough to get a transplant on the waiting list.

She informed him: “I do have to warn you though, given the state of your health, the chances of finding a donor organ in time are slim.”

Unsurprisingly, ex-wife Suki didn’t care and ncracked a sly smirk hearing the news about her abusive ex-husband while his children Vinny and Ravi also looked unbothered.
