A TWO Doors Down star looked worlds away from her legendary character in an amazing new theatre role.
Elaine C Smith, 65, looks terrifying clad in black with her hair slicked back as she takes on a much darker role than foul-mouthed Christine in the hit BBC series which ended last year after seven series.

The cast also includes Adam Garcia as Caractacus Potts, EmmerdalestarLiam Fox as Grandpa Potts and Ellie Nunn as Truly Scrumptious.
The veteran actress will share the role with Eastenders star Charlie Brooks, and it will be the first time that two women have played the character in the long-running stage show.
She previously told the Glasgow Times: “Chitty Chitty Bang is a favourite of so many people, it’s something we know and we can introduce our own kids to – almost like a place of safety in the middle of everything that’s happening in the world.”
The brand new production of the musical will run from August 27 to September 8 at Glasgow’s Kings Theatre.
It comes after the cast of Two Doors Down were reunited for the first time since the funeral of the show’s creator – and revealed that the sitcom has now been laid to rest with him.
All nine co-stars of the popular BBC One series gave a live performance of favourite episodes at the Beeb Comedy Festival.
But following the sudden death of the show’s co-writer Simon Carlyle last August, they believe the final curtain has come down on the neighbours of Latimer Crescent after seven seasons.
Asked by The Scottish Sun if Two Doors Down will continue, a tearful Elaine said: “This is the first time we’ve all been together since Simon’s funeral.
“I felt really emotional all day. Simon would have loved to have been here tonight.
“For all of us the emotion is still really, really raw.
He was part of this family.
“So to even think of walking back on the set without him there, how do you do that?”
But an insider said that Simon’s co-writer Gregor Sharp simply felt he “could not carry on” with Two Doors Down without his writing partner.
