EAMONN Holmes looked downcast as he was driven away from work following his split from Ruth Langsford.
Today Ruth, 64, was spotted for the first time since the bombshell announcement that she and Eamonn, also 64, are divorcing after 14 years of marriage.

The former This Morning host wore a pair of dark glasses while be escorted home in a black Range Rover.
In contrast Loose Women anchor Ruth appeared to be putting on a brave face as she attended a hair appointment today.
It comes after reports Ruth “orchestrated” their split while a devastated Eamonn “refused” to sign off on the joint statement.
Eamonn is also said to be “angry and blindsided” by Ruth’s decision to announce their separation.
A source said said “it was awful for him” after Eamonn learned of her plan just hours before the statement was released on Saturday afternoon.
The insider told the MailOnline: “Eamonn was left blindsided, it was awful for him.
“He literally found out about it a very short time before it was published – you’re talking hours.”
They added: “It all seems a little bizarre given that the statement said they were hoping to keep it amicable.
“Eamonn wanted no part of it, he couldn’t see any reason why you would release that statement.
“It was wholly written and signed off by Ruth and her team.”
Ruth and Eamonn’s split was revealed in an exclusive statement to The Sun on Sunday.
Their spokesperson said: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”
