HARIBOW have secured a spot in the final bringing them one step closer to winning Britain’s Got Talent 2024,
Here is everything you need to know about the Japanese double-dutch skipping act.
Who are Britain’s Got Talent finalists Haribow?
The Japanese double-dutch group Haribow energetically took to the stage, impressing the judges and viewers alike.
Despite a gruelling 20-hour journey from Japan, the group confidently declared: “We’re here to win.”
Their skilfully choreographed routine, featuring dancing and backflips earned them the golden buzzer which sent them straight to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent.
In the semi-finals, the judges faced a tough choice between Ravi’s Dream Team choir and Haribow.
When the judges’ vote ended in a deadlock, head judge Simon refused to make the final decision.
Ultimately, it was revealed that Haribow had secured second place in the public vote, earning them a spot in the final.
Which BGT judge pressed their golden buzzer for Haribow?
After the judges and audience gave a standing ovation, calls for a golden buzzer erupted from the crowd.
“I’ve already used mine, I don’t have any left,” Amanda Holden said.
“They really want that Golden Buzzer, don’t they?” Simon remarked, acknowledging the chants.
Amanda praised the group for their “hours and hours of practice” and called their performance “outstanding.”
Alesha Dixon struggled to share her thoughts over the crowd’s excitement. “I can’t even hear myself think,” she said.
Bruno Tonioli then said: “We’ve run out of Golden Buzzers. We can’t press it.”
Simon continued, telling the group: “Sometimes, when an audition is this brilliant, words aren’t necessary.
“My son is going wild right now,” he added before turning to Amanda’s daughter Hollie behind him: “You do it.”
With Simon’s approval, Hollie and Simon’s son got up from their seats, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
“Hollie!” shouted Amanda as she saw what was about to happen.
The kids ran up onto the stage, around the judges and hit the golden buzzer to huge applause from the audience.
“They pressed it for the audience,” Amanda said before calling the dancers “unbelievable”.
“This one is for all of you,” Simon said to the audience.
Congratulating the dance troupe, Dec Donnelly told them: “That’s never happened before.”
