BRITAIN’S Got Talent viewers were fuming tonight as a little girl sobbed on stage after the results in the live final.

Fans of the ITV1 show slammed the channel for showing finalists Haribow making it through to Sunday’s Grand Final, while a young girl from Ravi’s Dream Team choir cried next to them.

The youngster appeared to be upset as the judges were in deadlock and sent the decision on who would join magician Jack Rhodes in the final to the public vote.

Bruno Tonioli picked Haribow, while Alesha Dixon went for Ravi’s Roar, as did Amanda Holden.

But when it came to Simon Cowell he made sure it went to a tie by also picking Haribow – and it ended up going to the audience vote.

As it was announced that the Japanese double dutch group had topped the public vote, it all looked like it was too much for the choir girl who was soon taken off stage.

Viewers took to X, formerly twitter, to voice their disapproval at her tears being shown on screen.

“Little kids crying on prime time tv, good old ITV.” one fumed.

A second ranted: “Well awkward moment when #haribow over celebrated with children crying literally few feet away from that. Doesnt sit well.”

“Poor kids crying. What a shame,” said an unimpressed third.

Another was unsure whether she was crying out of disappointment or simply struggling with the noise, asking: “Was the little girl crying or was it too loud for her?”

Meanwhile a fifth mused: “See this is why you don’t put kids on the live show… can’t handle bad news and now the little girl is crying.”

There seemed to be an issue with the contestants being confused as the votes were read out moments earlier.

When Genevieve Cote was told she hadn’t made it through, she appeared unsure whether to leave the stage or not, suggesting she was unsure if her name being read out meant she was going home.

“She hasn’t a clue what’s going on” one fan commented.

Even Jack Rhodes appeared confused when it was announced he had topped the vote and was the first act through to the final.

Blitzers were accused of miming in a ‘fakery’ row[/caption]

“Jack’s like, ‘are you sure?'” one viewer laughed on X.

Earlier in the show, a fakery row played out on social media as some viewers accused K-Pop act Blitzers of miming.

One person raged: “This blitzers were miming most of that rewatch it and take notice we did.”

A second said: “How can they win on the back of miming.”

“Kpop band singing/ miming over a backing track. Gloryfied karaoke. They couldn’t sing so now miming,” added a third.

There is no suggestion at all, however, that the group were actually miming.
