LOVE Island is set to be the sexiest series yet thanks to a huge shake-up in the spiced up villa.

Twelve stunning singletons will be strutting their way into their new Majorcan villa in just one week’s time – and it seems things could get steamy very quickly.

The Sun was treated to a tour of the new-look space before things kick off and we’re taking you inside too.

For the first time ever the Hideaway is open at all hours – and as the sign above the door says ‘No Invite Needed’.

But there’s a twist, it’s only open to those who AREN’T in a couple, which could really stir the pot.

Discussing the new format, Love Island’s executive producer Mike Spencer told us from the villa last night: “It’s now No Invite Needed. So it could be the sexiest series ever!

“I think the series is really sexy anyway but we’ll always take more. We want it to be fun. Young, sexy, single people come abroad and hopefully find love.”

Explaining how it will work in the Moulin Rouge themed boudoir, he continued: “At the moment, this is work in progress, but you shouldn’t be in a couple to go in there.

“Sometimes by default or recouplings you might end up in a friendship, so the idea is that there’s no invite needed as long as you’re not in a couple.

“It’s going to be organic and natural, it might not be a useful space but I think it was fair to change it up a little bit for series 11.”

He added: “It’s been a staple for so long it’s good to change things up a bit.”

And it seems anything will go this series, with Mike saying:  “If you were in a couple, you could technically go in with someone else. It’s going to be chaos!

“We’re up for anything, we’re up for changes. There’s so many dating shows on TV and there’s a real reason we’re in season 11 and not be afraid to do something different.”

The villa itself has had a huge glow up– and looks better than ever.

As well as a lick of paint there’s a number of other noticeable changes.

For starters, when you enter there are three large hearts rather than one for Maya’s famous slow mo walk.

“You can see we’ve tried to create these zones so everyone and everything has a place,” Mike explained.

“Miami, really cool, really quirky, we wanted to create an Instagrammable villa.”

Love Island villa's biggest changes for 2024

  • The Hideaway – this series there is no invite needed
  • The girls’ dressing room has moved location
  • Extra beds added upstairs for ‘options’
  • A moat around the firepit
  • Fresh colours throughout and ‘zones’

For the first time the girls’ dressing room is located next to the bedroom and is bigger than ever before, stocked with products for them to use and a wardrobe from Ebay.

Upstairs, the old dressing room has been turned into a new chill out room, which has beds that fold down.

Mike told us:  “It’s all about options this year.”

The outside has been completely revamped with a new colour scheme and there’s the addition of a moat around the fire pit.

And there’s not just one yellow bean bag – but three. Let’s hope the curse is no more!

Tune in to Love Island’s launch on Monday at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX.
