BRITAIN’S Got Talent fans have been left reeling after noticing that producers have axed a crucial element of the ITV series.
Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly hosted the first live semi-final of the 2024 series last night.
Britain’s Got Talent fans have all said the same thing after last night’s semi-finak[/caption] Judges Amanda, Simon, Bruno and Alesha[/caption]BGT viewers were treated to eight auditions on Monday evening, including Taryn Charles, who took to the stage to show off her incredible singing voice.
Guitarist Sven Smith, dog trainer Lucy Heath and Trey Braine also performed in front of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.
Rapper Bikoon, roller skaters Starbust and singer Innocent Massuku also performed.
Some viewers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share how they are missing one part from the show.
Many pointed out that those watching at home don’t get to see the judges pick the acts who are going through to the next round anymore.
One asked on the social media platform: “Why don’t we see the judges deliberation anymore? And they don’t even reveal which acts made it. So if there’s an act we like who’s not made it, we just don’t know until… they don’t show up by Friday? Fat chance the judges even make the decisions #BritainsGotTalent.”
Another said: “Yeah, I miss those. Cos the auditions definitely had more than 40 acts go through.”
A third questioned: “Do the judges have any say anymore about who goes through and who doesn’t.”
It was Innocent Masuku, Trickstars and Ssaulabi who made it to the top three and had to battle it out for a place in the final.
Innocent Masuku and Ssaulabi were put through, while Trickstars were sent home.
However some wanted music teacher Taryn to get through to the final.
One said: “Erm Taryn was robbed!”
Another added: “I’m shocked Taryn didn’t make top 3.”
And a third blasted: “What? Those bloody dogs over Taryn?”
Last night judge Bruno joked he’ll be FIRED after he was told off by host Ant after he spoke too much.
The pair were hoping that they would be able to get the judging panel’s thoughts on the first eight acts before the results.
But they never made it to Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell, as Italian star Bruno spoke too much when it was his turn.
Realising he had overstepped the mark, Bruno said: “Oh God, I’m going to get the sack. That was my last show!”
