THE new series of Love Island is almost upon us, with a host of new stars ready to look for love.
Ayo Odukoya has been confirmed as an islander for series 11. Here’s what we know about him.
Who is Love Island contestant Ayo Odukoya?
Ayo Odukoya is 25 years old and hails from Canning Town.
He said he wanted to take part in the show as it was a good opportunity to find someone.
I think I’d bring excitement and joy. I think people would have someone to come to and talk to and feel comfortable being around or to have a laugh with.

He said: “It seems like something to have a go at. Of course, you can’t go wrong trying to find that love again – that is something that would be amazing to find if possible.
“I don’t really like being outside too much, I’ve been outside recently and it’s not fun outside! I do prefer to be indoors chilling with that person I can do stuff with.
“It would be nice to have that with somebody again.”
Ayo went onto describe what he thinks he can being to the villa during the series.
He said: “I think I’d bring excitement and joy. I think people would have someone to come to and talk to and feel comfortable being around or to have a laugh with.
“I think I’m somebody everyone would take to.”
Ayo went onto describe what would make him someone worth coupling up with.
He said: “I feel like the way I carry myself is very respectful and I think people take to that and once you show who you are to somebody you get it back tenfold.
“The way I am gives off a good enough energy for people to feel comfortable around me.”
What does Ayo Odukoya do for a living?
Ayo works as a model, appearing in shoots for Kult Models.
He also plays football, appearing as a striker for Isthimian league North side Redbridge FC.
Ayo scored eight goals in 38 appearances for the Barkingside-based team in the 2023/24 season, helping them win the Essex Senior cup.
When is Ayo Odukoya on Love Island?
The new series of Love Island will start on June 3, 2024 at 9pm.
Ayo will be one of the first Islanders to enter the villa for the 2024 series
He will be joined by ten other singletons hoping to find romance on the show.
As the weeks go by, they will be joined by a number of other bombshells that in previous years has stirred up tension in the villa.
The Sun revealed how the Majorca-based villa has undergone a makeover in preparation for the brand new series.
How do you watch Love Island 2024?
For launch night, The Sun revealed that ITV bosses are planning a huge shake-up.
The first episode of the new series will air on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX simultaneously, with the rest of the series being shown on ITV2 and ITVX.
The show will air at 9pm, Sunday to Friday.
A highlights programme will be shown on Saturday instead of the regular show.
A source said: “ITV want to throw their weight behind Love Island and make sure it has a big, glitzy moment when the 11th series kicks off next month.
“Showing it across every channel means creating what they hope will be a big TV moment. It shows there is still a real commitment to the format even nine years on.”

2018 – It wasn’t surprising fan favourites Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer won the show, as they were strong throughout. But sadly things didn’t last. STATUS: Broken up.
2017 –Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies had lots of ups and downs in the villa but went on to win the show. STATUS: Broken up.
2016– Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde were together form the start of the series, and since they won show have two kids and are married. STATUS: Still together.
2015 – Despite poor Jess Hayes being Max Morley’s second choice on the show, they did win – but they didn’t last as a couple. STATUS: Broken up.
