SERIES 11 of Love Island is almost upon us, with a new gang of guys and gals looking for love.
Here we get to know Mimii Ngulube, who has been confirmed as one of this year’s Islanders.

Each year Love Island welcomes a fresh batch of hopefuls searching for their soulmate in the Love Island villa.
Thousands of apply to be on the show, but only a lucky handful make it to Majorca — and Mimii is one of the chosen few.
Applying was a spontaneous thing, I didn’t expect to get here!
Mimii Ngulube
When asked why she chose to apply for Love Island now, Mimii — real name Michelle — said: “The pool in Portsmouth is not giving.
“I’ve tried dating, speaking to people on social media and it just hasn’t been successful.
“Applying was a spontaneous thing, I didn’t expect to get here!”
And when asked what she thinks she’ll bring to the villa, Mimii explained: “I’m a girls’ girl. My girls are my rocks and I’m theirs so I’ll be a good friend as well as going in there to find a man.
“I like dressing up so I’ll bring style, and I’d like to think I’m quite funny so I’ll make people laugh.
“Bringing honesty as well — I’m good at picking up on people’s personality traits and side-eyeing those who might be a liar.”
What does Mimii Ngulube do for a living?
Miimii is studying to be a mental health nurse, which could come in handy in the pressure cooker environment of the villa.
She is also an actor who enjoys performing in theatre shows.
In a production of Grease in Portsmouth, Mimii played the part of Marty.
When is Mimii Ngulube appearing on Love Island?
Mimii is heading into the Love Island villa for season 11, which kicks off on June 3, 2024.
She will be joined by nine other singletons all looking for a steamy summer of love.
As the weeks go on, the original cast will be joined by more bombshells.
The Sun revealed how the famous villa has gone through a glam makeover in time for the new series.
How can you watch Love Island 2024?
The launch show will start at 9pm on ITV2 on June 3, 2024.
Episodes will then continue at the same time from Sunday to Friday.
On Saturdays a highlights show is aired instead of the main programme.
The Sun previously revealed how Love Island bosses are planning a huge shake-up for the launch night.
ITV is going to air the dating show simultaneously across ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX for the first time.
A source said: “ITV want to throw their weight behind Love Island and make sure it has a big, glitzy moment when the 11th series kicks off next month.
“Showing it across every channel means creating what they hope will be a big TV moment. It shows there is still a real commitment to the format even nine years on.”

2016– Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde were together form the start of the series, and since they won show have two kids and are married. STATUS: Still together.
2015 – Despite poor Jess Hayes being Max Morley’s second choice on the show, they did win – but they didn’t last as a couple. STATUS: Broken up.
