EAMONN Holmes and Ruth Langsford left their last public outing together separately, suggesting their split has been a long time coming.
Daytime TV fans were floored this weekend when Eamonn and Ruth, both 64, confirmed they are to divorce after 14 years of marriage.

While they were all smiles as they put on a united front on the red carpet, Ruth and Eamonn left separately.
In snaps taken at the time, Loose Women anchor Ruth could be seen looking tense as she exited while chatting on the phone.
Meanwhile stony-faced Eamonn was seen walking away from the event with his head down and shoulders slumped, after stopping to speak to GB News colleague Bev Turner.
Ruth will be absent from her position on Loose Women this week, while Eamonn is due to return to his GB News slot tomorrow.
It’s believed he will make a statement about the break-up on air.
A source said: “Eamonn is always frank on camera and knows it will be odd for him to discuss the day’s news without mentioning his split so he’ll say a few words.
“He is putting on a brave face and will be the true professional he always is. Focusing on work will be a welcome distraction.”
The Sun on Sunday exclusively revealed that the former This Morning hosts were separating, with Eamonn having already left the family home.
Revealing their split after 14 years in an exclusive statement to The Sun on Sunday, their spokesperson said: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”
Meanwhile, some fans noticed that there was trouble in paradise after spotting a number of signs.
Ruth appeared to hint at struggles caring for Eamonn’s numerous health issues of late.
She was forced to clarify a comment about being “fed up” with her spouse amid his struggles – which have seen him in a wheelchair and on crutches.
It came after a remark Eamonn made on his GB News breakfast show.
He said: “I think my family are a bit fed up with me now.
“The kids are a bit embarrassed about how I move around or don’t move around, and Ruth’s getting a bit fed up with me.”
Eamonn recently hinted change could be afoot as he talked of moving back to home turf.
He was born in Belfast and often proudly talks of his Northern Irish heritage.
Just last year, a re-location appeared to be a sticking point for the pair.
Eamonn chatted to Ruth’s Loose Women co-star Kaye Adams on her How To Be 60 podcast where she asked if he’d move back.
He replied: “Oh gosh yes, but Ruth wouldn’t want that, she won’t go, she wouldn’t go.”
Meanwhile, often seen at celebrity events, the TV duo haven’t been spotted together in years.
As mentioned, they were last seen together on social media two years ago.
And Eamonn was heard off-camera joking with the pair’s close mate Rylan Clark, who was trying out their newly installed Stairmaster chair.
Yet in terms of red carpet events, there are plenty of images of the pair from their ITV heyday – yet they appear to have swerved recent glitzy bashes, perhaps to avoid attention.
