LOVE Island star Casey O’Gorman has joked that he only took part in the show for fame.
The 29-year-old first appeared on the reality show in 2023 and returned this year for the All Stars version – but failed to find love for a second time.
Taking part in a viral TikTok video alongside co star Josh Ritchie, Casey started: “I went on Love Island, of course I wasn’t looking for love.”
Josh interrupted, shouting: “Casey you are not meant to say that!”
But he continued joking about the show, saying: “I went on Love Island, of course I just went on for the followers
“I went on Love Island, of course I just went to get a good tan and speak to the lads all day.”
Casey ended the video, adding: “I went on Love Island, of course all I wanted to be was a TikToker.”
The hunk first appeared on Love Island in 2023 – and coupled up with Claudia Fogarty.
In a shock twist, he then recoupled with Rosie Seabrook and they were dumped from the villa shortly before the final.
He was best known for his friendship with Tom Clare – and the pair, who now live together, were reunited on All Stars at the start of this year.
Casey left the Love Island All Stars villa with Eve Gale but their romance quickly fizzled out.
Eve later said: “I don’t have a bad word to say about him. He is genuinely one of the funniest people I know.”
She meanwhile has started datingDemi Sims, but Casey recently admitted he hasn’t even been dating.
He said: “I used to be this serial dater and would go on dates two or three days a week before I went on Love Island, but now I’ve not been on one since I came out of the villa.”
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Casey added: “I don’t really like to anymore unless it’s something serious and with a girl I like. Otherwise, we get seen at a restaurant and someone takes a picture and then it just fizzles out”
