THE Chase quizzer Mark Labbett has clapped back at a fan who accused him of using Ozempic for his impressive 10 stone weight loss.
The ITV personality has managed to have a body overhaul in recent years and has managed to shed ten stone after transforming his diet.
Mark has sported a notably slimmer frame recently and his fans have been left taken aback by his new look.
One fan was recently left questioning Mark if he had achieved the drastic results through taking Ozempic.
Ozempic is a medication, originally intended to be used by diabetes patients, which can lead to quick weight loss.
The medication has become a celebrity favourite after sweeping Hollywood over the past two years with its usage widely increasing.
However, Mark was quick to shoot down any speculation that he had achieved his slimmer frame as a result of taking it.
The comments came after he uploaded a photo of him tucking into a hearty meal.
The Beast said: “Having a sneaky Steak and Chips at Seasons Restaurant. Protein loading.”
A discussion about his weight loss then broke out among his followers as one said: “You look so slim!!!”
Mark replied back: “10 stone lighter love .”
Suspicious, another of his followers quipped back: “Ozempic for the win.”
Refuting the claims he said in response: “Nope. Would take it if prescribed it.”
As well as his weight loss, Mark has also recently bagged himself a girlfriend in the form of stunning TV presenter Hayley Palmer.
He recently opened up about their romance as they celebrated their first anniversary with one another by returning to Southsea where they had their first date.
In an exclusive interview, romantic Mark, 58, says: “We found a bench in a peaceful spot by the beach and spent hours talking and getting to know each other, so we’ve decided to go back to celebrate our anniversary.
“As luck would have it, there’s a rather nice Beefeater near to where her parents live. They already know Hayley’s order — nachos and chips.”
Mark, who is filming the 17th series of ITV’s hit quiz show, says: “If Hayley finds a long brunette hair on my jacket she doesn’t go, ‘What have you been up to?’ She knows I do photos. There’s no jealousy — she just gets it.”
