EASTENDERS viewers have pointed out a major flaw in the BBC soap as a long-standing character prepares to depart.
Whitney Dean, played by Shona McGarty, is leaving Albert Square behind for good.

Whitney has refused to give Zack another chance and has decided to move away from Walford for a fresh start with foster daughter Britney and new baby, Dolly.
As Whitney makes her exit, EastEnders fans took to social media to discuss a particular plot point.
The inquisitive viewers wondered how characters were able to move from one property to another so easily in comparison to real life.
One penned: “Why do people in eastenders just up and move!? It’s really not that easy! I know its not real life but wtf #Eastenders.”
Another commented: “These characters have a tendency of pulling money out of their a***s. Most of them also talk out of their a***s, too #EastEnders.”
Meanwhile, a third added: “Who owns the houses on Albert Square? The residents just move around as it pleases them. #EastEnders.”
Actress Shona McGarty’s exit from EastEnders was announced last July.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun on Sunday, Shona shared: “I have decided to spread my wings and will be leaving EastEnders. I have loved my years in the show.
“I have been trusted with some incredible storylines and have made amazing friendships — and family — which will endure.”
Whitney made her Walford debut back in 2008, being part of Bianca Jackson’s family as her adoptive daughter.
She joined Bianca’s biological children Liam (James Forde), Morgan (Devon Higgs) and Tiffany (Maisie Smith) – whom Whitney initially believed was her half-sister.
Throughout her time on the show, Whitney has been involved in several hard-hitting storylines.
This includes meeting her biological family, coming to terms with having been abused by Bianca’s partner Tony King (Chris Coghill) and later being exploited by vile pimp Rob Grayson (Jody Latham).
Fans have wondered how she can move so quickly[/caption]Prior to meeting Zack, she was previously married to Lee Carter (Danny-Boy Hatchard).
Whitney had also been engaged to Callum Highway (Tony Clay), before Callum came out the night before their wedding.
EastEnders airs on BBC One and is available on BBC iPlayer.
