Stunning Ronnie, 27, will head into the ITV dating villa next month when the series begins on 3rd June at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX.
A source said: “Ronnie is the total package and ticks every single box for Love Island bosses – he’s good-looking with a great body, has top chat and even has links to former show legends.
“Fans are still obsessed with Olivia and now Bradley too thanks to their ITV reality spin-off Olivia Meets Her Match.
“This is an amazing way to keep those OG fans in the loop while introducing them to hot new singles.”
Ronnie shares professional snaps of his action on the pitch online, as well as holiday photos.
But fans will also love the behind-the-scenes peek into his friendship with Bradley and Olivia, including images from Brad’s stag do in Ibiza and inside their glam wedding last summer at The Bulgari Hotel, London.

And we told how Welsh rugby player Ciaran Davies is set to enter the Majorca villa, too.
Manchester-based model Grace Jackson could also be one of the Love Island 2024 Islanders.
