A CONTROVERSIAL Mafs star blasts the rudest people in reality TV in a blistering new Instagram video.

Thomas Hartley, who found fame on Married At First Sight in 2022, took to social media to share his most disappointing encounters with ‘famous’ faces.

Mafs’ Thomas Hartley has spoken out about encounters with rude reality stars

He told his followers: “This is a video I said I was going to do for a while and this is celebrity encounters I’ve had where the person has either been really rude, is really nonchalant or otherwise.

“Let me be absolutely clear, I’m not going to name the names of everyone in this list. I’ll name the shows they were on sometimes or otherwise.

“I like to leave a little bit to the imagination and I’m sure you can guess most of the time.”

Thomas said the word celebrity is overused and should be reserved for true A-listers such as Lady Gaga, Angelina Jolie, Robert DeNiro.

He continued: “These people are not celebrities by my belief, no one on reality TV shows, they’re not celebrities, they’re just in the public eye.”

First on Thomas’s hit list was an X Factor legend that he had a photograph with in his late teens when he was more enamoured with celebrity culture.

He described them as f***ing rude”, however, in the comments he denied it was N-Dubz star and former show judge Tulisa after a fan suggested it could be her.

Four Made In Chelsea stars made a particularly bad impression on Thomas for having inflated opinions of themselves and giving off judgemental vibes. He made it clear the offending stars weren’t big names such as Sam Thompson or Jamie Laing.

A Love Islander who disrespected him at a showbiz party came in for criticism too.

He fumed: “This lady was from Love Island, so f***ing rude. I said ‘hello’, she didn’t even acknowledge me, completely walked past and ignored me and is really a very dull person… on it 187 years ago, you don’t go ‘oh I remember them.”

Once again, Thomas ruled out certain names suggested by fans. The Islander in question is neither Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Amber Gill.

An ITV Daytime national treasure was next on the agenda.

He said: “They were absolutely vile, really rude, wouldn’t have a conversation.”

To the relief of fans it wasn’t Dermot O’Leary, Phillip Schofield, Rylan Clark or Ben Shephard.

There were then special mentions for the ‘lovely’ Geordie Shore and Towie casts.

Thomas’s relationship with his Mafs co-star Adrian Sanderson was short-lived and had a messy aftermath.

Last year he hit back at his ex after being branded him “unkind” and a “bully”.

Thomas told followers: “I’ve never been anything but authentic.”

Last October the former mental health worker avoided jail after pleading guilty to a public order offence after an altercation in London.

The incident, which happened at Euston rail station last February, saw Thomas accused of harassing and using threatening language towards a woman.

Thomas, 32, was arrested and pleaded guilty in Liverpool Knowsley and St Helen’s Magistrates’ court on September 21.
