PREGNANT Megan McKenna has got fans guessing after showing off her adorable baby bump alongside her fiancé Oliver Burke in Dubai.
Megan, 31, and footballer Oliver, 27, announced last month that they are expecting their first child and their followers now think they’ve worked out the gender.
The couple have jetted to the United Arab Emirates for a babymoon where former Towie star Megan has flaunted her blossoming tummy in a series of swimwear snaps.
In her latest photos, Megan beamed as she cradled her bump while posing in a black bikini.
She covered up from the sun in a straw hat and glasses while linking hands with Oliver, who stood behind her.
Commenting on the pics, one fan wrote: “Looks like a girl ..”
Another added: “I agree – a girl growing from the bottom not the top.”
A third chimed in: “Defo a girl x.”
And a fourth said: “I’ll eat my words if thats not a girly .”
The couple – who got engaged last year– revealed in their latest snaps that they were celebrating an exciting moment in Megan’s pregnancy.
Megan captioned her pics: “Celebrating seeing our baby kick for the first time! I saw it last night & then Oli saw it today at the beach…”
But for every goodwill message she receives, not all are position.
Megan recently concerned fans after she tucked into a plate of “unsafe” food during the holiday.
One evening she hit a posh restaurant and ordered a plate of prawns.
Megan held a prawn to the camera before munching it down.
This prompted one fan to write in the comments section: “Don’t they day not to eat seafood when pregnant ie prawns etc.”
What is the 'baby bump theory'?
Can the gender of an unborn baby really be determined by the bump?
Popular theory suggests a baby’s gender can be revealed by the shape of the mother’s bump.
For years, it has been claimed that the way a woman carries their unborn child can predict whether it is a girl or a boy.
If followed, the theory suggests the baby will be a boy if the bump is high and at the front. A lower, more spread out bump is said to indicate a girl.
But this really is just an old wives’ tale.
In reality, the only way of finding out the sex of an unborn baby is through medical screening.
This can be done several ways – via an ultrasound, a chromosomal blood test or through a CVS/ amniocentesis.
Another mused: “Not really meant to eat any kind of fish food or eggs.”
A third then mused, “Eeek don’t eat prawns!” yet one fan quickly retorted: “Eek yes you can!”
The NHS website states that expectant mums can eat cooked fish and seafood, so Megan was doing the right thing.
Also clarifying the situation, a fan added: “Perfectly fine if cooked properly.”
