IT’S time to Slap on the factor 50 because the summer series of Love Island is right around the corner.
The ITV2 reality series is launching its summer season, with more sexy Islanders looking for love.

There isn’t long to wait until you can get your next Love Island fix.
The summer series kicks off on Monday, June 3 at 9pm on ITV2.
The reality show will then continue at the same time Sundays to Fridays, with a highlights episode airing on Saturday nights.
Maya Jama is back as host for the fourth time, having worked on a winter, summer and All Stars edition of the show since taking over from Laura Whitmore in 2022.
Who won Love Island 2023?
Sammy and Jess won Love Island 2023[/caption]Sammy Root and Jess Harding were crowned the winners of Love Island 2023.
The couple made it to the final two, beating Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki.
Their win came as a huge shock to them and the public after they were voted the least compatible pair in the villa by their fellow islanders.
Addressing their ups and downs Jess told host Maya Jama: “I feel like the road I have been on is so unexpected, but we’re here now.
“When we got voted least compatible couple, I feel like that was a kick in the teeth, I knew what we had was special.”
The pair stayed together after the show but decided to call it quits in October 2023.
Can I still apply for summer Love Island 2024?
Applications for the summer series opened straight after the winter season ended and are still open.
The official website states that any person applying to be on Love Island must be at least 18-years-old or older.
According to the site prospective Islanders also must be able to participate in the show for a minimum of ten consecutive weeks for production.
Producers also keep applications on file for a year, meaning producers could even consider casting new singletons for future series of the show.
Where is the summer Love Island villa?
The lucky summer Islanders will be staying in the same luxurious Majorcan villa that the 2023 contestants lived in.
However, the villa has had a brand new makeover for the 2024 summer series.
The £2.57M retreat boasts a 20m swimming pool, and also features the famous firepit which is used for eliminations.
The lucky house guests also have access to an outdoor kitchen, which sits between the firepit and pool.
The previous villa – which was used from 2017 until 2021 – was also in Majorca, and can be found in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar on the East of the Island.

The Sun can now exclusively reveal who is rumoured to be packing their skimpy swimwear and tight trunks right now.
The rumoured cast for the 2024 summer series includes:
- Patsy Field– 29 year-old influencer from London.
- Samantha Kenny– 27 year old make up artist from Liverpool.
- Grace Jackson– 25 year old model from Manchester.
- Ciaran Davies– Rugby player from Wales
