RUBY Fox-Miligan’s shocking connection with an Emmerdale newcomer revealed in new spoilers.
Ruby arrived in the village at the beginning of the year to reunite with estranged husband Caleb.
Since then, she has clashed with the majority of the Dingle family, particularly Moira.
But following her son Nicky’s hospitalisation earlier this month, the family have rallied around her.
Nicky was a passenger in a car with Ethan Anderson when he crashed, before the solicitor left his friend beside the vehicle unconscious.
However, he confessed all to his father Charles who then reported him to the police, and as he was arrested, Ruby realised he was the person who had abandoned her son.
In upcoming Emmerdale scenes, Ethan tries to make the most of his time before he’s potentially jailed.
But while out and about, he sees Ruby talking to fellow newcomer, Rose Jackson.
Rose is the ex-wife of Will Taylor and estranged mother of Dawn Taylor, who is currently in a parent’s living hell after her baby boy Evan was diagnosed with leukaemia.
However, Rose has been behaving suspiciously ever since her arrive in Emmerdale, and after listening to her conversation with Ruby, Ethan is left shocked by what he heard.
Determined to use his last few hours of freedom wisely, Ethan confides in Charles about concerns he has for Dawn.
But what did he hear? And what is Rose up to?
With encouragement from Charles, Ethan decides to leave Dawn a voicemail.
Ethan and Charles then have a heartfelt conversation whilst preparing for court but Charles is frantic after he returns from the kitchen into the room to find Ethan has suddenly collapsed on the floor.
Fear grows at Woodbine as Charles’ partner Manpreet tries in vain to resuscitate Ethan.
Charles is terrified as he fears the worst…
Meanwhile, Dawn is concerned after hearing Ethan’s voicemail ...
