CHLOE Meadows has opened up about Dan Edgar’s shock romance with Ella Rae Wise.
Towie fans were stunned during the last series when Dan, 34, and Ella, 24, got together during the cast trip to Bali.
It came after he split from Amber Turner in 2023 after six years together.
Now Amber‘s best mate Chloe, 32, has revealed the simple reason she believes Dan decided to pursue a romance with Ella.
Speaking to new! magazine, she said: “Dan is quite hurt with the situation with Amber.
“So the most perfect thing you can do is get with the person you think is going to p*** your ex off the most. And that would be Ella because of the history they had.”
And Chloe insists Ella and Dan’s holiday romance came as no surprise to her.
She continued: “I wasn’t shocked – it was so predictable. We had a group chat about how much it was likely to happen so yeah we are not shocked at all.”
Dan recently confirmed his relationship status with Ella after rumours he ‘cheated’ on her while she was on holiday in Dubai recently.
The Sun revealed how Dan had spent time with his ex Hannah Rally while Ella was away.
After discovering this, a furious Ella confronted both Dan and Hannah.
A source said: “Ella ended up finding out what happened between Dan and Hannah and was furious.
“She confronted Hannah about it and called her embarrassing as well as some other choice words.”
However Dan hit back and insisted he and Ella are “just friends”.
A rep for Dan told The Sun: “There is no issue between Dan and Ella, they both speak regularly, but are very much still single.”

Fans reacted after Chloe asked Roman what Dan had said about his meeting with Chloe to discuss their shared dog Oliver.
One wrote: “Chloe Meadows was so looking forward to hear something negative about Dan and Ella.”
Another said: “Chloe is obsessed with Dan. It’s weird af.”
Taking a swipe
Dan revealed a heated moment with Chloe while chatting to Jordan and Roman after she took a swipe at Ella.
He said: “I’ll tell you what wound me up; Chloe Meadows came over and went, ‘Can I ask you something? Is that what you are into, yeah? Is that what you’re into?’
“And I went, ‘What?’ And she went, ‘All that t**s out and slut dropping and stuff’.”
Not the only one?
Chloe accused Dan of cheating on Ella during a chat with Amber, Elma and Courtney.
She said: “Dan does like female company. He has probably got multiple girls that he is chilling with, I don’t think she is the only one.”

Chloe insisted Dan’s romance with Ella was predictable.
