EASTENDERS has aired the surprise return of sex worker Nadine with a bombshell for Jay Brown.
The escort – who is played by actress Jazzy Phoenix in the BBC soap – made her comeback tonight to tell Jay she is 26 weeks pregnant and it’s his baby.
Viewers know Jay was hiring Nadine for her resemblance to his late wife Lola Pearce Brown.
But tonight, after months away, she returned asking Jay to meet her at The Albert and she had news.
“I’m pregnant,” she said bluntly. “26 weeks. I checked the dates – and it’s yours.”
Shocked by the news Jay simply got up and walked out horrified.
However fans are suspicious of Nadine’s motives.
One wrote: “Not buying this Nadine pregnancy stuff.
“If she’s a call girl how does she know who the father is? Jays not the only one she slept with in that month – I remember her being with Jay and saying she had to go as she had another client!”
A second said: “I can’t make up my mind as to whether Nadine’s baby is really Jay’s or not, as it would seem a very odd story to introduce if not.”
Another added: “Nadine is lying anyway. She’s only back for a short stint so it definitely ain’t Jay’s.
“The only d***ish behaviour here is a woman trying to pin a child on a man who isn’t the father.
“Anyone who has ever watched a talkshow knows just how messed up these situations can get for everyone involved including the child.”
This comes after Nadine’s return was announced and fans spotted a picture of actress Jazzy Phoenix with Patsy Kensit.
The snap led fans to believe Nadine is working with Lola’s mum Emma to snatch Lexi.
One wrote: “PoV: Nadine is Lola’s sister + Emma’s secret daughter??”
