BBC Breakfast took a swipe at presenter Jon Kay this week after he appeared to have adopted a new look.
Newsreader and journalist Jon, 54, became a main presenter on the morning show from July 2022.

In Monday’s episode, viewers picked up on Jon having changed his look and took to social media to share their thoughts.
It was noted Jon typically wore a dark coloured suit, round-rimmed glasses and had short hair.
However, Jon’s new style earlier this week saw fans compare him to being on safari, which included a tan coloured suit – which people linked to summer– a white shirt and a bright purple tie.
Meanwhile, watchers also commented on Jon’s hair having a change, as they observed it was more slicked back and had more volume.
Fans flooded social media with their comments from the moment the show began at 6am.
One user noted: “Summer officially here, Jon has his safari suit on #bbcbreakfast.”
Another commented: “#bbcbreakfast What is it BBC male presenters and their big quiffs…. Is it a contract thing?”
A third shared: “Jon will need scaffolding soon it’s grown that high.”
Meanwhile, a fourth viewer chimed in: “Shame the safari hat wasn’t available to go with it!”
It comes as viewers took a swipe at the show as they threatened to switch off over “doom mongering every day.
It appears at least part of Jon’s makeover is short-lived, as he returned to a dark-coloured suit in Tuesday’s edition.
After posting on X (formerly Twitter) about what was to come in the week ahead, Jon was bombarded with unhappy viewers.
