But, despite his baby joy, The Sun can reveal busy Ant will reunite with his co-host Declan Donnelly tomorrow night.

The Geordie presenters are set to host The Prince’s Trust Awards at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in London.

Ant will also be present for the Britain’s Got Talent live shows later this month.

Earlier this year he and Dec presented the final episode of their hit series Saturday Night Takeaway, with Ant later explaining they had decided to put their families first.

Speaking to Fault magazine, he said: “We need to spend some time with our family. We’ve both got children.”

Today a beaming Ant was seen for the first time since becoming a dad.

He stepped out near his home in west London in order to take his cockapoo puppies, Bumble and Milo, for a run around in the park.

Smiling and waving at photographers, Ant was seen puffing on a vape in knee-length navy blue shorts and a grey jumper, hiding his eyes behind wayfarer sunglasses.

When introducing Wilder with a sweet snap on social media, Ant also showed off a family tree tattoo on his shoulder.

It features the names of wife Anne-Marie, his stepdaughters Daisy and Poppy, Bumble and Milo and Hurley the Labrador, who he shares with ex-wife Lisa Armstrong.

In the initial photo Hurley’s name was obscured by the baby, and Ant later wrote on social media: “Hey all, I just wanted to say thank You so much for the kind messages of love and well wishes for our baby Wilder. He’s doing great. Glad you loved the tattoo as well.

“For all you dog lovers who asked why my beloved Hurley wasn’t on the family tree..he was!! He was just covered by our newborn. All my love, gratitude and heartfelt thanks.”

Ant and Dec's incredible career

ANT McPartlin and Declan Donnelly met on the set of Byker Grove in 1990.

The two went on to have chart success under their characters’ names – including their 1994 No1 smash hit Let’s Get Ready To Rhumble.

They haven’t looked back since then, going on to present some of the most popular shows on TV.

Here’s a rundown of some of their most popular shows – plus one “dud”.
