BBC Yorkshire presenter Abbie Dewhurst shared a video of herself on Instagram where she was struggling to maintain her cool as she got tongue-tied and made a string of blunders while trying to do her weather report.
Each time, Abbie walked off out of view of the camera before starting the video again.
But Abbie poked fun at her blunders and used the video to remind her fans that everyone can make mistakes.
“Having a right mare,” she explained alongside the clip.
“Got there in the end, thankfully.
“Some days I’m firing on so many cylinders; I hit every green light coming in, bash all recordings out in 1 take, film extra content for social media and eat spinach before 6am…
“Other days I put my pants on inside out, try to brush my hair with my deodorant and take about 15 minutes to record a 45 second forecast.
“That’s life! Happy Friday.”
Abbie, who boasts over 32,200 followers on Instagram, regularly shares behind-the-scenes clips from behind-the-scenes of BBC Yorkshire.
In one video, the weather presenter revealed just how much the green screen can affect colour.
She demonstrated while wearing a yellow and white spotty dress, which was transformed into an orange and white dress once the green screen was in effect.
“It’s magical, but it’s also strange,” she admitted.

“I’m not from Yorkshire. I’ve been adopted into God’s Own Country. I’m actually from across the border in Lincolnshire, making me a Yellowbelly!” she revealed in an interview with Yorkshire Live.
“But my family and I have holidayed in Richmond, North Yorkshire, for years. I remember the first time we visited, we stayed on a lake and my dad and I caught the biggest fish. We still have a picture of it on the magnet board in our family home kitchen,” Abbie added.
Abbie has worked for the BBC for over a decade and became a weather presenter for BBC Yorkshire in 2016.
