VIEWERS of Antiques Roadshow were left utterly terrified by a ‘creepy’ doll which they claimed will ‘suck out your soul’.

Fiona Bruce, 60, returned to the airwaves from Buckfast Abbey as her team of experts appraised items brought in by the locals.

However, one story from the BBC One show caught fans by complete surprise.

Antiques dealer Bunny Campione, 77, claimed the doll put in front of her was, “one of the most beautiful dolls I have seen on the roadshow.”

The contributor told her close connection to the location as her great grandfather presented the 14 bells of Buckfast Abbey in memory of her grandmother who was catholic.

She said how they brought the doll in France for their daughter – her own grandmother – when she was about three of four years-old in the late 1800’s.

The doll has been in her family ever since then and she told the expert how none of her generation or anyone since has been allowed to play with the fragile heirloom.

The ‘Bebe Jumeau’ phonograph doll also came with various antique discs, as the elder lady owner also revealed the doll was “supposed to talk,” but hasn’t done so for a long while.

But it seems fans were totally creeped out by the doll as they took to X – formerly known as Twitter – in their droves.

One fan put: “Creepy doll ahead #antiquesroadshow, along with a screenshot of the doll.”

A second Antiques Roadshow fan also posted the close up shot of the old doll alongside the words: “Hug me and I will suck out your soul #AntiquesRoadshow.”

“Creepiest doll this season! #antiquesroadshow,” noted a third viewer.

As a fourth social media user penned: “Creepy doll on #AntiquesRoadshow klaxon.”

Whilst a fifth quoted the expert as they stated: “…The most beautiful doll she’s ever seen on the roadshow … if you’re idea of “beautiful” is “horrific .. and possibly possessed” #antiquesroadshow.”

And a sixth sarcastically joked: “Fiona giving some exorcism advice there after scary doll #antiquesroadshow,” alongside a praying GIF.

Antiques dealer Bunny revealed the doll is indeed from the Victorian era as it was made possibly in the 1890’s as she also opened up the back of the toy to reveal the mini phonograph inside the torso.

The dealer noted that all the phonographic discs were intact and the doll had her original clothes that were in a good condition “considering” how old it was.

In the end, the contributor was astounded when the porcelain doll was valued at around £6,000, as she exclaimed: “Good gracious!”

She couldn’t believe what she heard as the gathered audience gave the pair a round of applause.
