LOVE Island’s Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan have headed on a romantic retreat weeks after getting engaged.
The couple – who met on the winter series in 2023 – announced their happy news to fans at the end of last month.
Kai got down on one knee while they went punting on a river with the bride-to-be aptly wearing a stunning white dress.
And now the newly-engaged pair have gone on a romantic retreat to a luxury treehouse in Wales to celebrate Sanam’s birthday.
The stunning accommodation costs from £295 per night with a minimum two night stay and the couple enjoyed beautiful views of the countryside from their room and accompanying hot tub.
Sharing a reel of their trip to his Instagram Stories, Kai wrote: “Is this the perfect birthday getaway for your Mrs? Had a beautiful time celebrating my fiancés birthday.
“@sanamiee You’re the most beautiful, caring, loving and intelligent person. Every moment I spend with you feels as though I’ve won the lottery of life.
“You deserve the world and I hope this year brings you everything you’ve ever dreamed of.”
In the reel, Sanam was seen taking a mouthful of chocolate cake out of a bowl before laughing as she looked up with it covering her nose and lips.
The couple also enjoyed some bottles of fizz in the hot tub as well as cuddling up in front of the view in matching white robes.
It isn’t the first time Kai has gushed about his feelings for Sanam, as he shared an emotional post when he announced their engagement.
He wrote: “Introducing the next Mrs Fagan, Beautiful, Caring, Loving and Smart are just some of the words that describe you.
“I love loving you, I love you and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
The couple moved in together last June and recently revealed they’ve gone back to their normal jobs.
PE teacher Kai and social worker Sanam said their relationship is more important than having fame.
Kai said: “What makes Sanam and I different is that you have to decide what you want more – the fame that comes with the show, or the person you’re in a relationship with.
“You get invited to parties but we wanted each other more than that lifestyle. We enjoy every moment together and we do things the other person is interested in, too.”
