Bernie’s long-lost son is a local police officer[/caption] Kit celebrates his birthday with PC Craig Tinker[/caption]She has learned that he has changed his name to Christopher Green aka Kit and she has now come face-to-face with the baby she gave away but without knowing for sure if it is HER son.
Played by former Hollyoaks actor, Jacob Roberts, Kit has no idea about Bernie and her or her families lives.
In upcoming scenes, more and more details surrounding Kit and his identity will be revealed.
it will be revealed that Kit has closer ties than anyone ever realised on the cobbles.
Next week, unaware Bern will tell Dev that it is her long-lost son’s birthday.
When she sees her car being towed away, she becomes immediately convinced that it is Kit’s doing after their run-in the previous week.
Despite insisting he is not her son, as Bernie heads to the police station with the intention of complaining about the officer, she is left shocked by what she finds.
She sees Kit being celebrated with a birthday cake by PC Craig Tinker in the office and her body shudders as she makes the special day’s connection.
Later, whilst at the hospital with Paul, Billy runs into trouble with a disabled parking bay.
Just as he is about to reverse into it, another horrid driver steals the spot off him.
Nearby, Kit flashes his police ID and makes the driver move which leaves Billy and Paul to sing his praises.
Informing Bernie about Kit’s good deed, she pays a visit to Kit to share her thanks.
It allows her to tell him a bit more about her life and Paul’s current medical condition.
In other news, Kit plans to spend a lot more time on Coronation Street after being assigned by DS Swain to work on the case of missing Lauren Bolton.
