LOVE Island is back in a matter of weeks, and one All Star has managed to land themselves a job on both the spin-off and podcast.
Love Island: Aftersun and The Morning After is full of franchise favourites, but one face will be appearing on both after having “amazing chemistry” with his cast mates.
Chris Taylor will be joining the podcast and spin-off Aftersun[/caption]We can exclusively reveal that Chris Taylor, who appeared on season five in 2019 as well as this year’s All Stars series, will be giving his input to this year’s goings on.
A source told The Sun: “Chris is Love Island royalty and bosses were thrilled to add him to the presenting line-up for The Morning After podcast, as well as the regular weekly Aftersun panel.
“He’ll be joining Amy Hart, who made her podcast debut earlier this year, as well as Sam Thompson and Indiyah Hart, who have juggled podcast and Aftersun for a couple of series now.
“The four of them make a great team and they have amazing chemistry.”
“Chris also recently signed up to be in the new series of Celebs Go Dating, so he will be juggling all of these projects,” they added.
“He’s a very busy, in-demand boy.”
While in the Love Island villa, Chris has proven to be unlucky in love, though emerged with a tight-knit group of islander pals he’s often seen with.
This includes Kaz Kamwi, with whom he’s fuelling romance rumours repeatedly with over the past few months.
Chris and Kaz, who bonded on All Stars, have proven inseparable and often appear on each others TikToks and perform skits together.
Yesterday, they even shared they’d gone to get their nails done together.
The new series of Love Island launches on June 3rd, meaning there’s just over two weeks to wait for a new batch of islanders looking for romance in the Mallorca villa.
Ahead of going on the show, Love Island bosses have cracked down with a set of strict new rules to avoid scandal.
This includes people auditioning for Love Island being required to chat to show bosses about any tattoos they have and the meanings behind them during the audition stage.
“Then, before they make it into the villa, they do an audio recording of what their inkings are about,” a source explained to The Sun.
“It’s just so there are no misunderstandings when they enter the villa.”
The move was brought in after some tattooed stars – including Chris – were deemed “offensive and inappropriate” with their inkings as they derived from Native American culture.
