For breakfast, Lucy-Jo opted for a strawberries and cream smoothie, followed by a chicken and halloumi wrap for lunch.

To break up her day, she enjoyed a skinny latte and two finger Kit-Kats as a snack before having crispy fish and chips with mushy peas for dinner.

Her final snack consisted of a protein pudding and a chocolate digestive, totalling 1600 calories for the day.

Lucy-Jo elaborated in her caption, explaining her choices. Part of her caption addressed why she won’t give up the treats she loves.

She wrote: “I’m still having my KitKat and coffee everyday as I can’t live without either 😂 and I think it’s important to include a little treat as I don’t know about you but I would probably go mental without it.”

One fan commented: “Love that, thanks for the inspo.”

Whilst another added: “Thank you for that I love hearing about your lifestyle and things you do and you look amazing.”

Lucy-Jo clarified that she follows the meal plan to maintain her weight rather than to lose weight.

The star initially went on a weight loss journey a few years ago in preparation for her wedding to former Corrie co-star, Alan Halsall.

She dropped two stone and went from a size 14 to a size eight.

While her marriage to Alan fizzled out in 2018, Lucy-Jo managed to keep the weight off.

Lucy-Jo rose to fame after she made her debut on Corrie back in 2002 where she played Katy Harris.

Following her stint on the soap she went on to star in Wild at Heart and more recently Hollyoaks.

The star joined Hollyoaks back in 2018 as Donna-Marie Quinn and ended her stint last year.

Now, Lucy-Jo has revealed that she works as a presenter hosting awards ceremonies.

Taking to Instagram she posted a video of herself in action.

Lucy-Jo captioned the short clip with: “A little look into the awards I had the absolute pleasure of Hosting just over a week ago….

“I don’t think it’s something I’ve ever shared with you, that I do this on the side along with spinning my many other plates but I genuinely love it.

“It’s a bit different glamming up and being yourself, rather than playing a character, but both jobs provide me with a script so I’m safe and happy.”
