JORGIE Porter is seen breaking down in tears on Drama Queens over her hopes to have more children – despite the terrifying risk.
The actress, who played Theresa McQueen on the Channel 4 soap, excitedly announced in 2021 she was expecting quadruplets.
However, at 14 weeks, she was left devastated when she miscarried the four babies.
While she is now the proud mum to baby Forest, which she had in December 2022, Jorgie admits she’s desperate for more children.
However, fiancé Ollie Piotrowski is hesitant, knowing that any pregnancy she has will be high risk and it could cost her her life.
“For me, talking about babies, I’m like ‘yes, let’s’. But Oliver, it’s a bit more of a tentative subject because he obviously knows the past situations, what we went through, also the risks,” she explained to the camera.
“I was high risk. I could have literally died, and the doctors were telling him that…”
Choking back tears, Jorgie took a moment to gather herself, adding: “Oh, I get sad, because I think about him.
“Also, I’ve got no one else to talk to about it. Because I’ve had no one go through… I never met another quad mum, and I’m actually probably a bit more upset for the loss of them now.
“Whereas at the time, it made more sense, but… it’s… when you think, ‘aw, there could have been a football team’.”
Later on she’s seen discussing the possibility of more children with Ollie over dinner.
“For our baby to have siblings, and to have a little gang, I just think I’d be really excited if it happened,” she tells him.
“If it happens, then it happens, then it’s happened,” Ollie responds, laughing as he struggles to figure out what to say.
“It’s not like… I will be excited, but it’s scary. It is scary. It’s an emotional roller coaster.”
“I know it’s hard, but I just love it,” she adds. “I love it so much. I didn’t think I love it as much as I do, and I really really, really love it.”
“There’s nothing better than loving your kids,” Ollie admits. “It’s the best feeling in the world.”
Speaking of the miscarriage to Fabulous at the end of 2021, Jorgie said: “It didn’t make sense. I’d not had any sign that things weren’t OK. No pain or bleeding, I was getting bigger, my boobs were growing, I had so much hair on my body and I still felt pregnant.
“When the consultant performed the scan then said: ‘You’ve miscarried,’ I was in total shock.”
Miscarriage - What to know
A miscarriage is the loss of a pregnancy during the first three months of pregnancy, with a “late miscarriage” defined by the charity Tommy’s as between 14 and 24 weeks.
Miscarriages are a lot more common than most people think, affecting one in eight pregnancies, the NHS says.
Most miscarriages can’t be prevented, though there are ways to lower risk, including improving your diet and avoiding smoking, drugs or consuming alcohol.

“It was a grieving process, but only because I’d dared to imagine life with them in it,” she added.
“I’ve tried to come to terms with it by thinking: ‘They’ve never lived, I don’t know them,’ but it took Ollie to say to me: ‘You held them in you for three months,’ to appreciate the power of those emotions.”
