‘Unnecessarily vile!’ fume Netflix fans at full-frontal male nudity in drama dubbed ‘truly filthy’

NETFLIX watchers were left furious after the final episode of A Man in Full left little to the imagination.

Based on Tom Wolfe’s novel of the same name, the limited drama series premiered its six episodes earlier this month.

A graphic scene in the final episode has left viewers outraged[/caption]

It follows a character named Charlie Croker (played by Jeff Daniels) protecting his Atlanta real estate empire from others hoping to capitalise on his bankruptcy and fall from grace.

However viewers were far from impressed with the show, especially due to a graphic scene in the final episode.

One of the characters, Raymond Peepgrass (played by Tom Pelphrey) takes viagra and later drops his bedsheet in front of Croker, revealing a fully erect penis, leaving viewers in shock and disgust.

Tory MP Alexander Stafford branded the scene as “low grade porn” while viewers have expressed disappointment over the lack of a warning beforehand.

In reviews on Google, one reviewer described the show’s ending as “simply ridiculous” and “very disappointing”.

Another added: “The actors are all gifted, and they’ll make the best of what they have. But the content and writing is truly filthy. 

“It’s so unnecessarily vile that it distracts from what could probably turn out to be a decent capture of the book.”

A third complained: “A big erect willy seemed to desperately seek attention. Disappointing.”

A fourth reviewer described the show as “a total mess” and “pointless garbage”.

However, others had very different thoughts on the show, with a more impressed viewer penning: “Jeff Daniels outdid himself.  Award winning performance, IMHO.  GREAT character development throughout. 

“Masterful portrayal of a very complicated and fascinating man that Daniels  plays. The ending was absolutely superb.”

The show’s ensemble cast also includes Lucy Liu, Diane Lane, Aml Ameen, Jon Michael Hill and William Jackson Harper.
