EASTENDERS’ Shona McGarty has shared a hilarious blunder caught on camera while filming with Patsy Palmer.
The 32-year-old actress will soon be leaving her role as Whitney Dean after 16 years, with her exit storyline coming to a climax very soon.
Last night’s episode saw Bianca enlist Britney’s help to acquire items for Whitney’s wedding when she fails to haggle the prices with the market traders.
However, Britney was soon up to her old tricks again.
Whitney was thrilled with Bianca and Britney’s efforts and the trio shared an emotional moment as Whitney tried on her wedding dress.
But it was short-lived when Britney accidentally let slip about her and Bianca’s earlier antics.
While the mood was tense at the end of the scene that aired in the episode, it was not the case while filming.
Shona took to her Instagram to share a video of the scene being filmed and she captioned it: “So, if you watched tonight’s EastEnders episode, directed by Jamie Annet, THIS is what actually happened!
“Watch the vegetable trolley! My laugh!”
In the clip, Whitney was seen looking at Bianca and Britney with disappointment, before turning in her wedding dress and heading down the hallway.
But as she left the kitchen, the vegetable trolley got caught up in the train of her dress and followed her out the room.
As she realised, Shona broke character and burst out laughing alongside Patsy, who plays Bianca.
The stars were then heard watching the clip back before bursting out laughing again.
Meanwhile, EastEnders spoilers have revealed how Whitney’s wedding day is ruined when Zack Hudson’s secret is exposed.
Zack slept with Whitney’s best friend Lauren Branning a few weeks ago after an argument, before Whitney shocked him with her proposal.
The couple will welcome their daughter – named Dolly – in upcoming scenes, before agreeing to still go ahead with their wedding day.
