PIERS Morgan is set to return to ITV as a guest on Lorraine Kelly’s morning show.
But instead of asking the questions the veteran broadcaster faces a grilling from the Scots sofa queen.
Former Good Morning Britain anchor Piers stormed off the ITV breakfast show and never returned – following a dramatic bust-up with weather boy Alex Beresford.
And the fiery presenter has barely been on the station since.
But now The Sun columnist is returning to the broadcaster to lift the lid on his bombshell interview with the ‘real Baby Reindeer stalker’ Fiona Harvey.
Taking to Instagram Piers wrote: “I’m returning to ITV mornings.
Well, for ten minutes anyway.
“I’ll be giving my first interview about our Piers Uncensored Baby Reindeer scoop to BAFTA queen Lorraine tomorrow morning.
I may or may not wear a kilt.
Fans couldn’t get enough and rushed online to chime in on the telly comerback.
One said: “Come back permanently. Dull without you.”
Another added: “Miss you on breakfast TV.”
While a third commented: “Bring back Piers.”
It comes after Lorraine viewers were left baffled this morning after a This Morning star took her place.
Ben Shepherd, who co-hosts the ITV magazine show with Cat Deeley, popped to the studio next door in a presenting shake-up.
However there was a good reason to draft in former GMB anchor Ben, after Lorraine bagged the Special Award at last night’s Baftas.
