TV HOST Steph McGovern and The Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas are the final two contestants in the dozen-strong line up of celebrities on Bear Hunt.
The duo flew out to Costa Rica earlier this month to take part in the Netflix contest fronted by Holly Willoughby and Bear Grylls.
The Sun has revealed the full cast of Holly Willoughby’s new Netflix show Bear Hunt – including BBC presenter Steph McGovern[/caption] Steph and Joe Thomas of The Inbetweeners fame have signed up[/caption] Spice Girl Mel B will join the dozen celebs taking part in the survival show[/caption] Pop legend Una Healy from The Saturdays has joined filming in Costa Rica[/caption]They join a collection of stars including former Spice Girl Mel B, shamed tennis legend Boris Becker and Strictly Come Dancing judge, Shirley Ballas.
A production insider said: “Signing up Steph and Joe have made this one of the most diverse and unusual celebrity line up ever seen on a show like this.
“The dozen celebrities come from incredibly different backgrounds – whether it’s ballroom dancing, singing, sport or interior design. They’ll each bring something to the mix.
“None of the choices are obvious – particularly not Steph and Joe, neither of whom have been on our screens in some time.”
It marks the start of a new chapter for Steph, 41, who was left gutted when her Channel 4 daytime show Steph’s Packed Lunch was axed in October last year.
The broadcaster said the show did not match its “digital-first strategy”.
The programme aired for the last time in December.
Whilst Joe, 40, is best known to TV fans as The Inbetweeners’ sweary Simon Cooper he’s struck out across comedy and drama since the beloved coming-of-age Channel 4 series ended in 2010.
It sparked two spin-off films in 2011 and 2014.
Since then he’s appeared in everything from White Gold, Plebs and gritty ITV medical series Maternal.
It will be the first reality TV show for Ted Lasso actor Kola Bokkinni– also famous for roles in Top Boy and Black Mirror.
The Sun previously revealed Changing Rooms star Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will be joining the survival show.
Earlier this month filming took place in an area caught up in drug trafficking wars.
Netflix is spending £1million to hire ex-special forces to protect Holly – who was spotted on location this week – and the cast and crew.
