Who are the Britain’s Got Talent 2024 golden buzzer acts?

Nabe

Nabe is the latest act to receive a golden buzzer

Nabe arrived on stage and said he wanted to “make people smile all over the world”.

The Japanese impressionist then began using shaving foam to style his hair into various styles, including that of Disney’s Maleficent and cartoon character Snoopy.

Using a white shirt and a cutout of Simon Cowell’s face, he transformed himself into the judge by pretending his hair was his famously hairy chest.

Judge Amanda Holden went crazy for the performance and awarded him with a Golden Buzzer.

“Normally when I press my golden buzzer I’m then in floods of tears and I do a big speech.
This is so different it’s just made me howl. Absolutely laugh my head off. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Amanda Holden

Simon added that Nabe was “one of the funniest people we’ve ever had.”

She has been a backing singer for Kim Weston, Gwen McRae and Candi Staton.

On Saturday May 4, 2024 she received the golden buzzer from Bruno Tonioli after she performed her rendition of You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman by Aretha Franklin.

I bet you somebody at some point has said to you that you haven’t got a great voice and nothing is going to ever happen. And boy did you prove this person wrong.

Simon Cowell

Bruno said about her performance: “I am not bragging here but I had the honour of meeting Aretha. She stayed at my house and when you started the song I was like ‘Oh God how is she gonna do that?’

“You made me forget about her version.

“You made it so much your own with so much feeling, and the colour of your voice is unique and you are a very very special person my darling.”

Bruno

The other judges were left impressed as well with Alesha Dixon saying that she has “one of those amazing tones and raspiness”when singing.

Taryn told Ant and Dec about the golden buzzer: “I don’t even know what to say I think I wet myself.”

What is the golden buzzer on Britain's Got Talent?

The Golden Buzzer was introduced in series eight, and has been an integral part ever since.

If the Golden Buzzer is pressed it means that the contestant is automatically in the semi-finals.

This means they skip past the boot camp stage of the competition.

Each of the four judges, plus backstage hosts Ant & Dec, have one opportunity per series to give an act the Golden Buzzer.

For the 2024 series, the rule has been amended and the buzzer was pressed nine times.
