JACK Whitehall has given fans a rare glimpse of his dad Michael’s huge house and expensive wine collection.
Comedian Jack, 35, previously revealed his dad Michael, 84, and mum Hilary live in the country near Banbury.
He showed off the garden – including a tennis court in the background[/caption]Now he’s shared some snaps taken during a weekend celebrating Michael’s birthday at the house.
Jack – whose girlfriend Roxy Horner gave birth to their daughter Elsie in September– took to Instagram to post a photo of him and his dad pushing prams through the garden.
In the background, Michael and Hilary’s full size tennis court could be seen.
Another photo showed Jack and Michael checking out his collection of pricey wine.
Jack captioned his upload: “Had a lovely weekend celebrating @fatherwhitehall birthday!”
Discussing Michael and Hilary’s move to the country last year, Jack told the Daily Mail: “He has moved out to the country and lives near Banbury, but he thinks Banbury sounds a bit common, so he insists on calling it the North Cotswolds.”
Michael previously revealed his love of wine started after the couple bought their first home in Putney, which included a huge cellar.
He told Metro: “It was a detached Victorian house with a spectacular staircase that looked like something out of Hogwarts, a big garden and best of all, an even bigger wine cellar.
“This is where my love for wine started. It had all the racks but no bottles, so it was quite a project to fill them.”
Earlier this year The Sun revealed Jack is already working on a huge Christmas show to to end 2024.
With the aid of his Jackpot Productions firm, the hardworking comic is putting together a huge celebrity-filled variety-style extravaganza.
A TV source said: “Christmas takes on a new meaning when you have children of your own, so it makes perfect sense for Jack to look at a festive show of his own too.
“The Jackpot team have been briefed to fill it with lots of laughs, silly sketches and celeb performances — sort of like Saturday Night Live in the US but with a lovely festive flourish. Plans are under way and Jack is chatting to a number of channels to find the format a home.
“He has worked with Prime Video and Netflix in the past and both feel like good platforms for the holiday high jinks.”
