The smiley Scots host was spotted wearing a stunning, floor-length gold gown that sat off her shoulder and buttoned all the way up the back.
While Rosie showed off her glowing baby bump in a fitted black dress which also sat off her shoulders.
The dress, which has a split up to the thigh, was perfectly paired with a gold handbag that also paired well with her mum’s dress.
But hours before Lorraine was due to arrive at the awards bash, she suffered an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction.
Lorraine was seen lying face down on the sofa as two women carefully buttoned up the gorgeous gown.
Rosie captured the awkward moment on her phone and shared a video with fans on social media.
Posting it on her Instagram story, she wrote: “Nailed the button technique and even Ruby helped”.
The clip was quickly followed by a snap of the pair beaming in the back of the car as they made their way to the BAFTAs.
Lorraine is set to receive a Special Award at the BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises tonight.
The award, which is one of BAFTA’s highest honours, is set to be given to her to recognise her outstanding contribution to TV.
Susanna Reid surprised Lorraine with the news of the award live on air during her show.
A shocked Lorraine said: “Finding out on-air this morning was a massive surprise.
“What an honour to the recipient of the BAFTA Special Award.
“A huge thanks to everybody I’ve worked with on screen and behind the scenes over the years – the people who make Daytime TV are very special people.
“Now I have to go and look for a showstopping frock to wear to the Television Awards on 12th May!”
