KATHERINE Ryan has revealed that her upcoming show in Los Angeles has been cancelled.
The Canadian-born comedian, 40, had been due to perform at the Netflix Is A Joke festival this month.

Since breaking into the UK comedy scene, she has appeared on shows including QI, Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie To You?, as well as winning the second series of Taskmaster in 2016.
Katherine was scheduled to appear at the comedy event in Los Angeles.
The wider festival runs from May 1 until May 12 with a variety of comedians confirmed to be performing.
The show is produced by Netflix in association with Live Nation.
Some of the advertised names include Seth Rogen, Kevin Hart, Sarah Silveman, Jimmy Carr, Chris Rock and Mae Martin, to name a few.
Katherine had been due to join them, however, an issue has unfortunately led to her show being cancelled.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Katherine shared to her one million followers: “People are very nice and I have small children, so I’ve had messages like, ‘Why aren’t you doing LA? Are you okay? What’s wrong?’”
“Nothing’s wrong. I don’t think they’re actually making a statement because I think… someone’s responsible and I don’t want to throw anybody under the bus.
“There was a mess up and I don’t have a Visa, we’ll put it at that.
“Now it’s too late to get a Visa.
“I think a lot of Americans assume that Canadians are Americans and we can just live and work there.
“But we can’t, not without a Visa.
“I didn’t want to come over illegally and then never be allowed back in again. So, that sucks.
“It also happened with my record of Glitter Room which was delayed.
“I think what I’m learning is I just need an O-1 permanent Visa. It sucks and I just don’t want anyone to be out of pocket.
“Otherwise, I would be staying quiet about it.
Katherine has previously appeared on shows including QI and Would I Lie To You?[/caption]“We did sell 600 tickets, so thank you for buying them and I really hope you didn’t book travel or hotels that you can’t get out of.
“I’ll see you next time.”
It comes as Katherine revealed she and her partner Booby Koostra had not been asked back to do another series of Celebrity Gogglebox.
In June 2023, it was confirmed the pair had signed up to the much-loved show.
They appeared alongside the likes of Denise Van Outen and Duncan James, Fearne Cotton and Gok Wan and Davina McCall and Michael Douglas.
Despite enjoying the experience, Katherine exclusively told The Sun she was unsure whether the pair would return.
She said: “I’m not sure that we were the best fit for Celebrity Gogglebox only because we were new and there are so many other families and couples on there, that I don’t think we were on it very much.
“I loved being on it and I would love to be of more use on it.
“We haven’t been asked back so far, but that’s okay. Like I’m not right for everything.”
