Escape to the Country star Nicki Chapman has revealed the future of the long-running BBC show in a heartfelt Instagram post.
The presenter confirmed the countryside property show will return for another series after 22 years on screen.

Escape To The Country’s Nicki Chapman excitedly confirmed that Escape to the Country will return for a 23rd series.
Production on the upcoming series is already underway, with filming currently taking place in Herefordshire.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Nicki, 57, confirmed fans would get to see new episodes “pretty soon.”
“Recognise this causal ‘I’m just leaning on a gate’ pose?” Nicki teased, alongside a picture of herself from Escape to the Country.
She continued: “Yep! You’d be right. The mighty Escape to the Country is back for a brand new series. Filming has started & I’m in the delights of Herefordshire. Home to fellow presenter Jules Hudson. Wonder whether I should pop in for a cuppa?
“Can’t say when these new shows will be airing, (pretty soon), but rest assured you’ll be the first to know. Ish.”
Nicki concluded the post by sharing the link for viewers to take part in the show and find their dream home in the countryside.

Shortly after announcing that Escape to the Country will return for a 23rd series, Nicki then shared another teaser about the upcoming new episodes while she was out filming in Herefordshire.

Posting from outside a stunning property, Nicki shared a bit about what she was up to, before fellow presenter Jules Hudson crashed her segment of the show.
Alongside the video, she wrote: “What are the chances? Two Escape to the Country presenters in the same place at the same time. A rare sighting. Not sure why my voice went so high pitched, but, hey!!
“The gorgeous Jules Hudson joined us for a pint & a chat about the delights of living in Herefordshire & the Welsh borders earlier this week. Always such a joy to see my TV partner in property & landscapes.
“Escape to the Country – new series coming soon,” Nicki concluded.
