DENISE Van Outen pulled out all the stops as she celebrated her 50th birthday three weeks early with topless waiters and her celebrity mates.
The former Big Breakfast anchor, 49, was the centre of attention in a bright green blazer worn over a black playsuit, paired with eye-popping pink boots.
Denise styled her blonde locks into loose waves and made sure her tan was on-point for her special day with her mates.
She revealed her “shock” at the surprise bash – organised by her best pal – at London’s Bunga Bunga.
In a new Instagram video, Denise captured the lively scenes inside the venue which saw her loved ones cheering and dancing around.
A line-up of topless waiters stood at a table, one holding a huge birthday cake before presenting the sweet treat to the TV star.
They were clad in tight shorts and a bow tie as they shimmied around entertaining guests.
Meanwhile Denise, donning a diamante Birthday Queen headpiece, took time to pose for a slew of pictures with her loved ones.
The London space had been adorned with a huge table in the middle as well as golden balloons, adorned with the numbers 5 and 0.
Sparklers were waved around while the music played out loud.
Later in the night, the Steph’s Packed Lunch star also pulled on a sash detailing her age and a cheeky phrase which read: “50 and hot, buy me a shot.”
A circus acrobat then took centre stage, balanced on two poles.
But it was Denise’s own mother Kathy, 77, dressed in a sparkling top and trousers, who stole the spotlight from her daughter with her Kathy wiv a K rap.
In a gushing post, Denise thanked all those who made the special event possible.
She wrote: “SURPRISE early 50th birthday party @bungabungaldn.
“My best friend @tamara71 organised a birthday bash inviting my family and closest friends. I was so shocked! I had no idea at all and I’m so grateful to her because I had the BEST time.
“Tamara you are one in a million and I love you so much.
“Thank you Thank you to all the gang who came and surprised me, Love you all.”
Denise then explained she would be out of the country on her actual birthday, so was making the most of the early celebrations.
50 and thriving
It seems the star’s career is on the up too, after she announced an exciting new exciting gig with EastEnders legend Tamzin Outhwaite.
She recently hinted at a secret career project as she stripped to a striped swimsuit on the beach.
Denise also hinted she and former Big Breakfast co-host Johnny Vaughan are working on a secret project after patching things up following a decades-long feud.
Earlier this year she shared a snap of them together on social media and cryptically added: “Writing and planning @vanouten_denise @johnny_vaughan66 ‘To be continued’.”
Denise joined the Big Breakfast in 1996 and hosted alongside Johnny until she quit in 1999 over a pay dispute.
Despite her briefly returning in 2000, Denise and Johnny both were forced to leave in 2001 when the show was axed.
