A BBC BREAKFAST star has confirmed her absence from the show after being replaced.

And now Carol has revealed she’s taking time off as she heads on holiday to Cornwall.
Updating her fans on her adventure so far, the meteorologist said: “Just visited Tresco (Isles of Scilly).
“@Hurtiagents To call it stunning doesn’t do it justice. Weather beautiful. Fell in love with the red squirrels.”
Carol added that she opted to sail to the stunning British island rather than fly.
The Beeb stalwart’s break from BBC Breakfast comes after she worried fans by appearing to be suffering with a bad cold live on air.
Viewers had flooded social media with well-wishes for the star.
Carol has had an exciting year so far, having married her partner Steve Randall, 48, in a magical Christmas wedding.
The couple had tied the knot on in Buckinghamshire during an intimate ceremony.
Carol wore a stunning off-the-shoulder white gown with a white bouquet.
She previously said: “It was the most perfect and romantic and intimate wedding.
“We are both so incredibly happy.”
