Dr Hilary was first to chime in, saying: “I think congratulations are in order.”
“You’ll be a wonderful granny.
“You have a certain degree of knowledge on these things – a wise woman.”
Lorraine replied: “It’s not about me though…It is.”
The bubbly host revealed that husband Steve shared some words of wisdom ahead of the new arrival.
But she admitted she may struggle to take them on board when Rosie’s little bundle of joy arrives.
She said: “My Steve – because Rosie’s got her Steve as well – said I’ve not to interfere too much.
“How hard is that going to be not to interfere.”
Lorraine went on to play a fresh-faced throwback of her on GMTV when Rosie was just a baby back in the 1990s.
The clip was filmed days after the Scots host gave birth to her only daughter.
She recalled: “Do you remember when Rosie was really tiny and I brought her on GMTV?”
“Oh she’s not happy, she was so cute.”
The gushing gran couldn’t contain her excitement about her first grandchild.
