One day a penniless woman named Martha walks in and Gadd’s character Donny offers her a free cup of tea.
However things turned sour and the maniac subsequently bombarded him with more than 41,000 emails, hundreds of tweets and letters and hours of voicemails over a four year reign of terror.
And now Gadd has revealed that he banned his parents from watching the show, according to The Times.
Gadd also described how he felt sorry for the stalker.
Elsewhere the ‘real Baby Reindeer stalker’ revealed she wants the ‘circus to end’ as she plots her revenge against Netflix.
The Martha character is reportedly based on Scots law graduate Fiona Harvey.
The 58-year-old has hit the headlines since the show landed on the online streaming service.
We previously told how the curly-haired beak declared she “wasn’t crazy” before hurling a savage insult at Gadd.
Elsewhere she branded the Scots comic a “sad wee man” for “not having sex with her”.
But now Ms Harvery appears to have had enough of the limelight as she bids for a quiet life.
She wrote online: “When will this circus end?”
However she won’t go quietly and has vowed to pen an account of her side of the story.
