LEE Mack has revealed he’s taking a year off from a beloved show as he admitted it’s ‘not my decision’.
The comedian, 55, has had a busy schedule over the past number of years with his sitcoms and game show The 1% Club.

The hit BBC series’ future is in doubt, although Lee confirmed discussions about bringing it back are happening.
When asked about what’s to come this year, he said: “More 1% Club, more Would I Lie to You? and, for the first year in a long time, I won’t be doing Not Going Out.
“If we do bring it back, we’re looking at early 2025.”
While fans of the sitcom will be disappointed by the news, Mack revealed the decision is out of his hands.
He added: “We’re talking about it now. I’d love to do more, I love doing it, it’s great fun, I love the cast but […] it’s not always my decision, these things.
“I just wait for someone to say, ‘There’s a bag of money, get on with it’.”
Not Going Out, which started in 2006 and is Britain’s second longest-ever sitcom, sees Lee who play a fictionalised version of himself.
He stars alongside Sally Bretton, who plays his on-screen wife Lucy.
Fans last saw the pair during Christmas for its festive special as Lee and Lucy care home resident Wilfred to come to their house for Christmas Day.
Hugh Dennis and Abigail Cruttenden co-starred as Toby and Anna alongside Deborah Grant and Geoffrey Whitehead as Lucy’s mum and dad.
