BRITAIN’S Got Talent has once again been accused of ‘fakery’ after fans noticed the same thing happening with all the acts.
Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to share their frustration when they came to the sudden realisation during the latest episode.
They have noticed a familiar theme with all of the auditions[/caption] Whatever the act, the judges are appearing ‘shocked’[/caption]This weekend’s instalment featured everything from a flying baritone Batman, Japanese beatboxers, a stand-up comic and a teenage breakdancer to name a few.
But fans at home spotted that judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli, reacted to every single audition with the same expression – shock.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one moaned: “Is there anything more annoying on TV than the #BGT judges with their fake open mouths in surprise at almost every act?”
Another asked: “Why do the Judges act so shocked at everything… They all seem to be over doing this acting, even Simon Cowell seems to be doing it now.”
A third chimed in: “I’m so done with these open mouthed false confused looks by the judges.”
And someone else added: “I am convinced they record the judges reactions and facial expressions and insert them at appropriate moments during the acts! This ‘show’ is so contrived!”
Britain’s Got Talent returned to screens less than a fortnight ago for a brand new series. But it has already been met with controversy.
Following Saturday’s show, fans tuned in to see one of the acts being interviewed on Good Morning Britain and branded his audition a ‘fix’.
Harrison Pettman, 22, had closed the show with a rendition of With You from the musical Ghost.
The security guard from Kent had told the judges he was juggling two jobs before he went on to wow them with his incredible vocals.
But during an interview on GMB, Harrison revealed he’d received a wealth of training at stage school.
He told hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley: “My parents have supported me so much throughout training etc.
“I mean we are talking about Brit School and I have trained at Bird Academy, I went to a Centre Stage Theatre Academy, so I have done a lot.
“They have been behind me the whole entire time.”
Meanwhile, following the show’s launch, angry BGT viewers claimed five acts were ‘already famous’ and shouldn’t have been there.
